We are pleased to add amerindianmissions.com to our blogroll. Jerry Davidson of the Summerdale church of Christ is the primary missionary and coordinator of mission efforts among the Amerindian people of Guyana. Their website is maintained by Chuck Smothers, a member at Eastern Shore.
Amerindian Missions and Guyana Christian University work in total union with one another to build the church and expand the kingdom of Christ in the Rupununi region. Keep an eye on amerindianmissions.com for complete reports on the efforts there.

I JUST WAST TO SAY EVEN THOUGH BRO, JERRY IS NOT AS HEALTY AS WE MAY THINK, I TRULY BELIEVE THAT GOD IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO BLESS HIM WITH LONG LIFE, JUST TO CONTINUE TO CARRY HIS PRECIOUS WORD TO OUR AMERIDIAN PEOPLE HERE IN GUYANA. HE HAS BEEN DOING A VERY GREAT JOB, AND I RESPECT HIM FOR THAT.
I WISH A LOT MORE PEOPLE COULD BE MORE MISSION MINDED LIKE HIM, ME AND MY WIFE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH HIM AND HIS TEAM, EVEN THOUGH HE SAID IT IS NOT HIS TEAM BUT THE LORD’S TEAM, FOR THE PAST THIRTEENN YEARS NOW.
THIS HAS BEEN THREE YEARS NOW MY WIFE CANNOT GO BECAUSE WE HAVE TWO CHILDREN, AND SHE STAYS HOME TO TAKE CARE OF THEM.
WE HAVE A DAUGHTER SHE IS TWO YEARS AND THREE MONTHS, HER NAME IS GOIVANNA ARYANNA, AND THE BOY IS SIX MONTHS, HIS NAME IS AZARIAH ADONIJAH. THANK YOU BROTHER JERRY FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR US AND OUR AMERIDIAN PEOPLE, MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU AND SISTER FRANCIS.
It’s so good to hear from you Darmendra. I enjoyed working with you in the last big Lethem campaign a few years ago with brother Tom Holland. I appreciate your kind words about Jerry. He is doing a fantastic work there. He never stops thinking of the Amerindians and the brothers and sisters throughout Guyana.
I look forward to hearing from him soon as he returns today I think. Thank you and your wife for your dedication. I am sure your children are beautiful and being raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Great things will happen among your people in future generations if you teaching your children to love the Lord!
